Malabar Dance Crew (MDC) was originally established as R & D School of Dance in Malabar (2007) with just 29 students. Now with 150 students MDC offers classes 4 days a week in tap, jazz, hip hop, broadway & performance troupes to students of all ages.
MDC provides students with a modern and fresh approach to dance.
We use modern music, movements and costumes (all age appropriate),
and classes are fun!
Teachers are young, enthusiastic and in touch with the students,
and full of passion for making every lesson interesting and enjoyable.
Principal, Donna Smith, is a qualified Early Childhood & Primary teacher with
over 25 years experience in dance. Donna works extensively as a teacher throughout local primary schools, has studied dance & drama through the
creative arts at university, and has experience in choreography for whole school musical productions. Her experience in both education and dance ensure that every students needs are catered for throughout every lesson, and teacher to student ratios are always exceptional.
Classes are held at Malabar Memorial Hall & Malabar Public School on Monday to Thursday afternoons. Check individual class/age pages or contact Donna
